About Hannah

I have 5 years of experience teaching a diverse group of students including, but not limited to: english as a second language, students on the autism spectrum, and students with add and adhd. I have taught both first grade english language arts and K-8 visual arts. My teaching pedagogy focuses on teaching the whole child by including social-emotional skills during tutoring sessions. I am currently an art therapy student at Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. I have created and taught culturally responsive art curriculums that focused on growing students self-efficacy with art. I am proficient in a range of art mediums including: Cyanotypes, embroidery, printmaking, procreate, paper-weaving, darkroom and digital photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed-media, wheel throwing and hand-building ceramics
