I'd describe my personality as gentle, joyful, and personable. I like working with kids because I have a genuine heart for them. I think children are a gift and I am always drawn to nurturing/caring for them. I started working with kids when I was as early as 10 years old, it began with my friends/families babies that I would volunteer to bathe, feed, put to sleep, monitor etc. The older I got the more people began offering me the opportunity to be paid to care for their children. In my spare time, I like to read, go shopping, and spend time with friends & family One thing you should know about me is that I have your child's well-being as the focus of my time there. I treat each child with the same care and concern that their own parents would treat them with and I believe that's what makes me a trusted sitter.

Jamilah has been an active caregiver to my 2 and 4 year old baby girls since they were born. She’s extremely attentive and good with children of all ages. She’s a natural and my daughters absolutely LOVE her. She’s punctual, respectful, patient, and she communicates very well. I’m a school teacher and I’m very particular about who I allow around my children. I’ve never once questioned Jamilah’s care. She loves to send pictures and videos of my girls because she knows how much I miss them when I am away from them. My girls rave about how fun she is. She cooks and jumps right into whatever routine I have set. She follows my girl’s bedtime routine very well which makes for a great transition when I arrive back home. I absolutely love and trust Jamiliah! I know that they are safe and well taken care of when in her care. She’s hands down the best sitter and caregiver that I’ve ever had.
