About Jessica

My name is Jessica and I am CPR and first-aid trained graduate student in the clinical psychology PhD program at UF, with a specialty in pediatrics. For as long as I can remember, I have adored engaging with children. Their joy, unending kindness, and unrelenting love for life was and continues to be contagious and was the reason I began babysitting at the young age of 12. Through the years, I've gained experience working with children as a summer camp counselor (2 years), volunteering for Special Olympics of Ohio (4+ years), and as a clinical research coordinator at Nationwide Children's Hospital (4 years). My previous experiences have educated me on engagement with children with complex cognitive and medical conditions, age appropriate play, and the importance of patience and kindness at every developmental stage. I am a reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate person and am hoping to make your life a little bit easier by helping with your most precious gifts- your children!
