About Kirsten

Hi! I'm Kirsten. I honestly cant remember a time precious to the last few years that I have not cared for children and babies. I have worked in Social Work since 2012 starting in the foster care arena. I currently work as a therapist and have seen children 6 and older in that position. I am quiet and nurturing. I believe in talking to children from the moment they are born. I think that children should know they are loved and cared for so I always do my best to show up glad to see them even when I'm tired and they exhaust me. I do not initiate physical affection with children (unless they're infants) but I also wont turn down a hug, or an ask to hold (unless you have informed me that its not something that is safe for your child). I do not yell and I honor routines-though I have been known to read an extra book. I do not let babies cry it out and I will not let a baby cry it out-that's one rule I will break every time.
