As a credentialed teacher, I have been teaching in Orange County for 30 years and I have experience with children K-5. I can work with your child for a one half hour or a full hour. I have attended many trainings including The Reading Academy and the SIPPS reading program/training. My specialty is helping children with reading and writing/ELA. I have been to the UCI Irvine Math Project training. I am also great at helping children learn their multiplication facts quickly. I use songs, games and math tricks. When tutoring, I include your child's interests and incorporate those into the lessons. Reading Testing is available. I have been trained to use several different reading tests including the San Diego Quick, the BPST and the Star test. I am happy to meet at your home or at a public library. I am current with my multiple subject credential. I serve families in Mission Viejo, Irvine and surrounding cities. My rate is $50 an hour.

Leslie is kind, knowledgeable, able to help kids in regular classes as well as special ed. She can take students who are really struggling and bring them up in their studies quickly. She has been very helpful. I highly recommend her services. She's a great teacher.
