About Monica

I'm a retired PT Assistant with 27 yrs. experience working w/special needs children in an inclusive school setting, and with adults in a day-hab program. I absolutely love kids and it's easy for me to be silly, engaging, and get right on the floor to play. I will offer your child/ren my complete attention to play games, swim, read, build, whatever they choose. I gained many skills through my volunteer work: Pop Warner Football: assist. coach 7 yrs., Adaptive Design Associates: homemade adaptive equipment, Meals On Wheels: meals for seniors, Life Rolls On: surfing for individuals w/disabilities. I believe life is too short to let a day go by without laughter and finding joy. I have worked w/many people in my life who in return have helped me be a better therapist, person, and parent. I am CPR and First Aid (child and adult) trained. I have an excellent driving record and am comfortable taking kids to the park. I am gentle but firm when it comes to the rules and safety.
