About Paige

Hi! My name is Paige and I am a currently a 1st grade teacher in New Haven and I hold a 305 CT state teaching certification (grades 1-6). I am looking to tutor a few hours a week after school and through the summer. I have somewhat limited flexibility in hours because I will have to get back home to my 3-year-old :) During my years as an administrator and classroom teacher, I've focused extensively on differentiated and individualized instruction, inquiry and project-based learning, and creating a nurturing and community oriented classroom and school culture. I believe emphasis should be put on the process of a child's learning experience rather than the product as there is so much development happening along the child's educational journey.
