About Rachel

Hi all! My name is Rachel and I have been blessed with many years of childcare experience. I've worked as a nanny for children ages 3 months-15 years old. I have a background in education where I have mostly taught preschool aged kiddos. I have also been a farm to school based educator for k through 8th grade. I owned and operated an outdoor forest preschool in Western Massachusetts called Secret Pasture Preschool. In the Hudson Valley I have worked at a local Waldorf school and a fully outdoor preschool program. I am warm, gentle and deeply caring of the families I support. I enjoy spending my days outside and sharing my hobbies (walking, garden, cooking) with the children I care for. My husband and I live in Kingston with our 5-month-old and our three dogs. I look forward to connecting with families in the area!
