(No availability as of 09/2024 - schedule full) (This is my tutoring profile) I am an experienced tutor who has worked with children of all ages, primarily for math and science, but I've done other subjects as well (English, Spanish, Social Studies). For the past two years I've been working with autistic students, some who are nonspeaking and use RPM. I have various past experiences in education roles, including being a classroom aide and working for Kumon, an after-school K-12 learning program. I love tutoring because it is a reward in itself to help a student reach their full academic potential. Regarding math in particular, often students don't think they are "math-minded" and I work hard to encourage my students that anyone can do math or science with the right effort.
